hemp washcloths

A recent inquiry through Ravelry has reminded me how fabulous hemp is for washcloths or bathroom accessories.

Hemp has inherent antifungal and antibacterial properties, is breathable, recyclable and non-allergenic, essentially making it the ultimate fabric. If that hasn't sold you, the more hemp is put through the washing machine and the drier, the softer it will become, yet it will not shrink, stretch, fade or pill.

tips for the hemp pas de valse

With the arrival of the versatile Pas de Valse sample a few weeks ago, we have had several customers pick up the allhemp3 for the project.

notes on the two summer sundress

The other day, I was looking for a pattern for a dress with a knitted bodice and fabric skirt and came across this free pattern for The Two Summer Sundress on Ravelry. It was created by Natalie Larson of  Strands of Me and is sized from 3-6 months, up to 8 years. I love the premise that it has adjustable, criss cross straps that can take a little girl through two summers of wear, simply by arranging the straps in a different way.
