Any chance you'll stock some patterned knit fabrics? They seem to be so hard to come by. The only organic line I have come across is from Australia (http://www.inkandspindle.com.au/) but would love to have some selection to choose from to make clothes. Thanks!

The ink and spindle prints are gorgeous, but as they are hand screened, they are also $15 AUD per fat quarter.
A few months ago, I posted an entry on sourcing organic interlock as part of our series on sewing with knits. The following is extracted from that post:
Knits are generally harder to source than woven fabrics, and we have had difficulty locating a wholesale supplier for organic interlock for the shop. There are, however, a few sources for the retail consumer:
Near Sea Naturals: Carry several options for solid coloured interlock and a few prints. As a frame of reference, we found that light to medium weight knits (7 - 10 oz / square yard), worked well for this pattern.
Harmony Art: Released a limited collection of organic cotton interlock fabrics that are still available to the consumer. Stitch Simple carried the largest selection that I could find.
Etsy: Several Etsy shops carry organic interlock by the yard. Bungalow Bear carries it in 5 different skin tones for Waldorf dolls. Post Production carries three different prints in interlock and three coordinating organic jersey solids. WonderFluff features lightweight organic interlock printed by Spoonflower.
I've ordered samples of the Spoonflower organic cotton knit and while it is lightweight (at 5.4 oz / square yard), it has a lovely hand and feels heavy enough for a summer garment, or layering piece for fall. It is also grown and (obviously) printed in the US. The wonderful thing about Spoonflower is that any of the prints available for sale, can be printed on organic cotton knit. Some of my favourite designers include KristopherK, Holli Zollinger, Troismiettes, Lana Kole, Alice Apple and Hamburger Liebe. Samples for organic knits are $5 and the fabric is $27 / yard, but 1 yard should do for a dress or top for a child.
Good luck with your knits projects!
